An Appeal

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I owe each and every one of you sincere thanks for all the years we’ve been communicating and your putting up with my rants in the various media I’ve had the privilege to be part of.

In my commentaries over the years, I’ve chided all sides of government and in particular have focused on the absurd. Unfortunately a majority of the absurdity that comes our way each day is born on the Democrat side, at least here in Massachusetts where they hold a super majority. I’ve also chided folks for not becoming involved, saying on more than one written or televised commentary,

“We get the government we deserve.”

I’ve started making the appropriate rounds in the six cities and towns within this district. Now I humbly ask you for your help. I’m reaching in-and-out of state for support for one simple reason. The 2nd Franklin is among the most under-developed, and has the highest unemployment in Massachusetts and is completely ignored by the current Democrat holding the seat.

You’re probably thinking, Massachusetts, tough times? It can’t be. Well unfortunately it is, One out of every four homes in these communities is either in or pending foreclosure or simply on the market. Unemployment here is higher than the national average (6.90%) and as the flight from Massachusetts continues, (on average) 2,500 people per month flee this state and business is following. The cost of living or doing business in Massachusetts in general, and Franklin County in particular, is extreme and there is no end in site as our state elected officials scheme on how to spend more, tax more and waste more.

The race I’m in, against a literally do-nothing opponent, has been called a “race to watch” or “extremely winnable”. With your help I can accomplish that! Your contribution of $25, $50, up to the allowable limit of $500, will allow me to compete on a level playing field with an ingrained and cash-flush Democrat incumbent. As a bonus to you, think of the endless hours of entertainment you will get as I report on ultra-liberal government operations from the inside!

I’m deadly serious about taking on this challenge and want to offer “more than just change” as my web site indicates. In Massachusetts we must change or we will not survive! And you will be able to sit in the comfort of your own home and watch with an insiders view as we go about trying to restore fiscal sanity to a state gone completely insane! I am asking around the district for donations as well, but as stated, the unemployment rate, other factors affecting this district make financial support minimal.

People here are barely treading water, which is why I’m reaching out to you, the faithful audience. Anything you can do by way of a financial contribution of any amount up to $500 will make my ability to compete more favorable.

Please use the “Donate” button on the upper right column of our website, or you can send a check for whatever you can to;
